Day 6 Viana do Castelo to Carreco

I have to say for someone who is not at all outdoorsy, I have amassed quite the collection of outdoor gear!!

Our hike today was just a little over 5 miles but it felt like 10 because the sun was out in full force. I would say my Lupus has been trying to be a good sport but today was too much. By the time we got to our hostel every joint in my body was on fire and screaming.

We arrived at our hostel( Morada do Ultramar) which is a home owned by an incredibly sweet couple who let us in early. They were the kind of people you just want to hug the second you meet them. They had a pool and a nice seating area and most exciting was a washing machine!

We had an early dinner and I am hitting the sack early so hopefully I will feel more human tomorrow.
