Porto is lovely

Ola! Today is our last day in Porto and tomorrow we start walking. We are loving this city! It is so pretty and the people have been quite friendly and forgiving when I butcher their language! I used to think that learning languages was one of the few things at which I was good and then I tried learning Portuguese! Oh wait, there was also an hilarious failed attempt at Finnish a while back. Hmm, perhaps I am not as good with the languages as I thought. I mean just ask my family about my Malayalam. Whoa….totally going stream of consciousness…sorry. Perhaps there is some jet lag issues still afoot.

I’m excited to start Camino tomorrow but also a little nervous. Trying to keep Lupus at bay when you are outside all day in the sun takes a lot of effort. Which reminds me…did you see my comically large hat in Rich’s last post? Go ahead, laugh. People here seem to get a big chuckle out of it. I’m doing my part to spread some joy in the world 😁.

We’ve got some repacking and preparing to do today and then I think we will head out for an early dinner so we can start early in the AM.
