Day 16 Caldas de Reis to Padron

Today’s walk clocked in at just under 12 miles. I decided to take a cab to our destination and then walk the other way to meet up with Rich and Olga so I got 5 miles of walking in.

We started the day early. Rich and Olga dropped me off at a cafe and then set off on their way.

I had way too many coffees and then buzzed around the town for a bit and hopped into a taxi for a ride to Padron. Once I got to Padron I found the path and started walking the opposite direction of all the other pilgrims. It was kind of amusing to say hi to people and then watch their faces try to figure out why I was going the other way.

I waited for Rich and Olga at a little park a couple miles out of town.
