Logrono to Najera, Spain - September 16

We started out at 7:00am to begin our journey to Najera by walking through Logrono. We passed a bread and pastry shop after about fifteen minutes. The aromas were amazing and everything looked delicious. I suggested we should skip the walk and hang out there instead but Olga and Marta said no.

On the outskirts of the city we reached a beautiful large park and recreation area. There are bike and walking trails, playgrounds, picnic areas all beautifully landscaped. It all surrounds a small lake.

The remainder of the day was spent walking next to roads and highways or through vineyards. We stopped to rest in Navarette and got our first pilgrim stamp of the day at the church.

The clouds left us around noon so we finished our walk under a beautiful blue sky. Oh, and I got my first blister ☹️.
