A happy dog story - September 17

I don’t have any pictures to go along with this story but it made me so happy I just had to share.

This morning, Rich and I were standing outside with all of our bags, waiting for a taxi. A man was coming down the street with two dogs; 1 was a big Rottweiler/Pitt mix and the other looked like a Pitt puppy. Well, of course, my face lit up when I saw the big Rottweiler (shout out to Milton the best Rottie I ever knew!). Rich swears this specific face lighting up only happens either when I see a dog or I see a picture of my niece or nephew.

The Rottweiler looked at me and stopped dead in it’s tracks and looked at his human and refused to go further. The human tried to get him to keep walking but the dog was not budging and instead started pulling the human towards me. The human looked at me and shrugged his shoulders and I very giddily gestured for him to let me pet the dog. The dog was so sweet let me pet him for a few moments and then went on his way.
